Oil and gas producing countries in Europe are failing, but Iran is helping Europe. On what terms?

Oil and gas producing countries in Europe are unable to meet the demands of the European Union. Iran can meet the energy needs of Europe if the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the Iranian nuclear program is concluded. This was stated by Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Nasser Kanaani at a press conference, Fars News Agency reports.
According to him, Iran is ready to meet most of Europe’s needs amid the Ukraine crisis if negotiations on the resumption of the JCPOA resume and sanctions are lifted from Tehran. Kanaani stressed that Iran’s assistance will be especially weighty in the energy sector because European oil is very scarce and Europe desperately needs Iran’s energy potential.
“We hope that the agreement will be concluded and Iran will be able to play a more effective role in providing energy to the world and Europe,” the diplomat added.
