Investing.com – Israel stocks were higher after the close on Thursday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.

At the close in Tel Aviv, the rose 1.96%.

The best performers of the session on the were Alony Hetz Properties and Investments Ltd (TASE:), which rose 10.28% or 205.00 points to trade at 2,200.00 at the close. Meanwhile, Ashtrom Group Ltd (TASE:) added 6.87% or 303.00 points to end at 4,714.00 and Big Shopping Centers Ltd (TASE:) was up 5.14% or 1,490.00 points to 30,490.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Elbit Systems Ltd (TASE:), which fell 2.51% or 1,890.00 points to trade at 73,400.00 at the close. Tower Semiconductor Ltd (TASE:) declined 0.27% or 25.00 points to end at 9,110.00 and ICL Israel Chemicals Ltd (TASE:) was down 0.15% or 3.00 points to 1,937.00.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 247 to 226 and 71 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for December delivery was up 2.14% or 1.72 to $82.16 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 2.04% or 1.73 to hit $86.36 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.75 to trade at $1,989.25 a troy ounce.

USD/ILS was down 0.58% to 3.98, while EUR/ILS unchanged 0.09% to 4.23.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.61% at 106.07.
